In August of 2000, Pastry Chef Patti Dellamonica-Bauler returned to One Market Restaurant, where six years earlier her pastry career began as a Pastry Cook at both The Lark Creek Inn and One Market Restaurant.
Following her initial time with the Lark Creek Restaurant Group, Dellamonica-Bauler was the proprietor of PattiCakes, a Hollywood pastry catering business she left in 1997 to become the Pastry Sous Chef at Wolfgang Puck’s Spago, where she was quickly promoted to Pastry Chef. She returned to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1998 as Pastry Chef at Bistro Don Giovanni in Napa.
Patti holds both an A.A. in Business Marketing and a B.S. in Home Economics from the University of Nevada, as well as a Professional Chef Certificate from U.C.L.A. and a Professional Pastry Certificate from the California Culinary Academy.
The dessert menu at One Market Restaurant is a celebration of the seasons in the Bay Area. Among Patti’s most popular offerings, often made with the freshest of ingredients from the farmers’ market across the street at the Ferry Plaza, are Roasted Organic Peach with Sour Cream Biscuit, Candied Pecans, Peach Caramel and Cinnamon-Sour Cream Ice Cream and Lemon Blueberry Tart Brûlée with Lemon Cream, Fresh Blueberries and White Chocolate Ice Cream. In addition, Dellamonica-Bauler’s “Singular Sensations” solve the dilemma of having to choose just one of her many fascinating desserts – guests are able to sample several of her selections in mini servings or simply have a few sweet bites to end their meal.
